The AzONL Board of Directors is pleased to announced that Ms. Jody Johnson has been appointed to a Community Board seat.

Jody Johnson, BSN, RN, CMSRN, OCN is the Interim Director of Nursing of a 52-bed med surg unit with HonorHealth (formerly Scottsdale Healthcare). She is currently the secretary for her hospital's interprofessional practice council and has served as chair of a unit based practice council. She is enrolled in the MSN-Leadership program through Grand Canyon University.  Ms. Johnson practiced  bedside nursing for 2 years before transitioning to the supervisor role and in January of this year began the director role.  Her passion has been in leadership and supporting others in accomplishing goals. She looks forward to contributing more to the nursing community through this new role on the AzONL Board.

Last year, the AzONL Board created the Community Director seats to encourage inclusivity and engagement from Nurse Leaders from the following specific areas: early careerist, rural setting and post-acute setting.  AzONL members may apply for the Community Director seat through the Board Candidate form (see below).  Terms are for 1-year.
